Celebrating everyday strength, power and unapologetic self-expression that lies within every woman.
Rooted in Balinese heritage, John Hardy’s new platform “Made for Legends” flipped the switch on the traditional jewelry model. We were tasked with post-production of the campaign, handling beauty retouching of product and on-screen talent.
Starring modern-day legends, the campaign was an open invitation to create your own legend. To enhance the perfomance of Julianne we did color correction, skin/hair retouching, and silhouette editing.
Using a combination of post-production tools, we made sure the product looked right, removing the artifacts, making the colors match real life and editing jewelry pieces to help the director communicate their vision.
Pushing beyond the traditional convention of women being gifted jewelry by men, friends, and family, John Hardy's Made For Legends platform calls on women to also acquire their own pieces as a means to strengthen spirit and bolster courage. We worked on sequences with model-activist Adwoa Aboah, who was invited to headline the campaign, exploring what it means to be a legend.
Every piece of the collection celebrates achievement and demonstrates the power of personal expression. We leveraged the tools we built working on Julianne edit to amplify the performance of Adwoa.
Where jewelry advertising often plays it safe, John Hardy isn't afraid to be dramatic, inspiring and powerful. We ensured the imagery reflected John Hardy's high standard.
John Hardy connects the individual to the myth, mastery, and achievement of artistry. We collaborated with the production team to work on Behind the Scenes video, ensuring the visuals matched the quality of the campaign.
Working with this team was an awe-inspiring experience. Not only does this campaign celebrate feminine individuality, it also showcases the duality of women’s strength and vulnerability they possess. in the imagery, as in life, they are armed by John Hardy to take on the world.
